Why Did I Like Him Anyway?

It’s not about how to get or keep a man, but why we as women do what we do and why we like who we like. And it’s not because we’re all crazy as hell as most men would like to think!

ANYBODY CAN GET A MAN……

There are a lot of self-help books on the market.  Books on; how to get a man, how to keep a man, books on how men think etc….  With most self-help books, there is something or at least one item you can pull from the book.

Most books are written according to what’s accepted by the “norm.”  And I do agree to a certain extent. There is going to be certain behavior that is acceptable by most.  What turns most guys on or what would be included in the top ten turn offs…..  Regardless to what’s accepted by the norm, there is still somebody for everybody.  So even if what you do or don’t do would be considered a major turn off in a survey of men, you can still get a man.  There is still a man out there for you.

A different approach!!  Maybe the key is not knowing how to get a man or keep a man, but knowing you, and why you do what you do and why you like who you like.

WHY DID I LIKE HIM ANYWAY!

This book is for anyone who is dating or has every dated.  Why we as women do what we do and why we like who we like, and it’s not because we’re all crazy as hell as most men would like to think……

THE ECONOMY AND DATING A.KA. HOT SUMMER BLUES!!

Is this bad economy affecting dating and relationships? Of course it is!  You know how we women are!  A large number of us determine a man’s worth according to the amount of money he spends.

Summer Blues

Maybe it’s time to cut a guy some slack.  Yeah, you do stand a chance of getting duped!  The cheap guys who were cheap in a booming economy, now have a reason to be cheap.  But hey, you might really get to know a cool cheap guy.

There is nothing wrong with going out for drinks during the time that they offer the “drink specials.”  With the current gas prices, guys may attempt to give us women a two drink minimum, but don’t get offended.

It’s summer time; don’t start complaining because he’s taking advantage of outdoor activities. For instance, instead of going to a pricey restaurant, he may suggest a picnic in the park, hanging out by the pool, or chilling on the patio.

Look at it from a positive perspective, more “talking” and less body bumping.  Besides, it’s too damn hot for all that!  People move too fast anyway, so now you can finally get to know a guy for who he really is, the way dating should be.

Tell me what you think…

Less Than A Minute

Terrie Lynn for NottHeadsChokkklit Shop

It takes less than a minute to decide if I really want to get in it:

It starts with a glance, then to a stare; I look her down, and up; from her toes to her hair.  Pants or skirt, it does not matter, I’m about to get with this chitter chatter.  Crude and sometime crass, but be real, I’m trying to get that…

One minute

The fury of questions start in rapid succession

  1. Do I want to hit that?
  2. What do you think she’s like in bed?
  3. Does she have on a ring?
  4. Has she noticed me yet?
  5. How much work is it going to take to get that?
  6. Is the prize worth the effort?

If at least 5 of the 6 questions, excluding the ring (go to Plan B), come back positive, then I’ll approach.  What I might say, I have no set rule.  I check the elements, think of something clever, and then make my move.  This takes less than a minute!

Plan B- if the circumstances mean this really is not my chance to let her know how I feel then, you smile say a polite “Hello, hope you’re having a nice day” and let it marinate for a future possibility.

Some women try to play it off; like they don’t know what a man is thinking when they’re running through their own list of questions.  Attraction is natural and animalistic but that’s how we’re wired, it’s supposes to be like that.  So why all the confusion, stop the allusion that it’s about his money, his career, or his status; if you like what you see then greet me with the attitude of “you can have this if you’re willing to work for it.”  It takes less than a minute.
